Our DEI Commitment
At the Woman's Century Clubhouse, we believe our historic sanctuary should be open and welcoming to everyone. We are dedicated to fostering a space where diversity, equity, and inclusion are lived values, serving as a bridge between the elegance of the past and the inclusive spirit of our modern community.
We prioritize equitable access for all of Nampa so that every visitor feels a deep sense of belonging and respect. Absolutely everyone is welcome at the Woman's Century Clubhouse—regardless of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, or genetic information.
Honoring the Ancestral Lands of Nampa
Land Acknowledgment
"Ne Hakanni Kimmakkante?"
We respectfully acknowledge that the Woman's Century Clubhouse stands on the ancestral lands of the Western Shoshone and Northern Paiute peoples.
"Ne Hakanni Kimmakkante?" ... Little Brother asks, "Where Did I Come From?"
From time immemorial, various bands of the closely related Western Shoshone and Northern Paiute tribes have jointly lived on and cared for this region, including what is now Nampa, and the tri-state area of Idaho, Nevada, and Oregon and
the Duck Valley Indian Reservation.
We honor their forebears, their descendants,
and their ongoing relationship to this beautiful land.
